My submission to the Ace Jam 2019

Everyone Loves AngelNet! Grab your nicest gel pens and color pencils and log on to the coolest social website around. In Angel•Net, you'll be paired with your very own Guardian Angel, who will play games with you, chat with you on our super buzzin' fan forums, and feed you wacky fantasy food from our out-of-this-world cafes! On AngelNet, it's a Dream Come True!

This is a print'n'play interactive coloring book. The attached pdf file comes with a tutorial page which shows you how to assemble the Angel•Net Booklet, and the Angel•Net Booklet. To play, simply color each page and perform the activity on it before moving on to the next one. As you color and do activities, you'll get a bit of story, and hopefully a taste of what it was like to be a kid on the internet in the early 2000s.

I was happy enough to enjoy the brief period of the internet where social mmos and websites were at their peak. As someone who now identifies as asexual, I know they offered me something special--the chance to develop a relationship with someone without requiring physical intimacy. Angel•Net is an ode to that awesome gift I got in my youth, as well as several other things that remind me of those days--tamagotchi, gel pens, Chao gardens, CLAMP comics, and black-furred-half werewolf OCs with rainbow wings and red eyes. Maybe only 90's kids will understand!

SO RAD!! That's totally my aesthetic! Seriously, I'm actually developing a cyberpunk universe that's shockingly similar in terms of tone and style. It's called Silicon Cages and it's about virtual pets living on a digital realm known as PetNet governed by a cynical megacorporation.

please let me know when you finish it, I would love to play it <3
